Christmas Recap

Twas the night before Christmas at the Hahn house,
Not a creature was stirring, but Liz was...

The kids at the table,
playdough on mats

Then Emmeline tugged on Santa Claus' hat

Lucy lay chewing on bone-dog most festive

while Don and the girls on piano bench rested.

As the night went on soon present time arrived,
Emmeline, 19 months old, into packages dived.

Paper flew around as Anneliese was soon to follow,
wrapping lasted not and boxes were made hollow.

Thanks, smiles, hugs, and kisses
finally a picture with Don and the misses and the mrs.

Now the poem is over but the post on it carries,
scroll down just a bit for for video of Christmas Eve Merry.

Bearcats Bowl Bound

Hoo rah! The Bearcats are headed to a BCS bowl after winning the Big East Conference. Looks like a trip to Tampa but we will know for sure on Saturday. The Cats will be taking on Hawaii Saturday but that won't figure into the selection process. Wait to go Bearcats.

Wait a minute, Ball State is undefeated and Bowl Bound. And Ohio State is looking at a Fiesta Bowl bid? Could I be any happier this year. Looks like Bowl season is going to be off the hook for me!

Here are you Christmas tunes for Dec 2:

A new favorite of mine, the Celtic Woman singing "O Holy Night"

And for Liz, her favorite "little drummer boy"

Hope that you had a Happy Thanksgiving...

Hello! Hello!

Hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend. We enjoyed turkey and the fixins with my parents in Cincinnati. Anneliese and Emmeline got to play with their cousins Sarah and AJ. It was a nice afternoon. Unfortunately we forgot the camera. Oddly, I think that cranberry sauce, out of the can, was the hit for the kids. I begged for pecan pie and got my wish. In a word, DELICIOUS. If you can't enjoy pecan pie then I am just sorry for you :)

As you get ready for the holidays here are two songs to help you get in the spirit:

and

SEE YOU SOON!
