Not a creature was stirring, but Liz was...
The kids at the table,
playdough on mats
Then Emmeline tugged on Santa Claus' hat
Lucy lay chewing on bone-dog most festive
while Don and the girls on piano bench rested.
As the night went on soon present time arrived,
Emmeline, 19 months old, into packages dived.
Paper flew around as Anneliese was soon to follow,
wrapping lasted not and boxes were made hollow.
Thanks, smiles, hugs, and kisses
finally a picture with Don and the misses and the mrs.
Now the poem is over but the post on it carries,
scroll down just a bit for for video of Christmas Eve Merry.
